Cultural expectations about masculinity can make it difficult for men to speak openly about distress, show vulnerability or ask for support. Creating room for those conversations can help challenge the pressure to stay silent and simply “man up”.

Man Down offers a different message: when someone is struggling, we can listen, make space and stand alongside them. I was pleased to contribute to a project encouraging that openness and connection.

I join Dom Hodges for the first episode of Man Down, a podcast series making space for honest conversations about men’s mental health, masculinity and vulnerability.

[1

post-668","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
